  • Year 6 Production - Alice in Wonderland

    We were so proud of all of our Year 6 children who participated in our annual end-of-year production. This year's performance was Alice in Wonderland and the children were fantastic in their roles - from actors to soloists, from the stagehands to the light and sound engineers. Everyone agreed it was an incredibly professional production!

Our older children showcased their athletic prowess at the impressive Lea Valley Athletics Centre, while our younger pupils embraced the spirit of friendly competition during their energetic Mini-Olympics.   • Year 6 Bowling and Air Hop Trips

    Year 6 children are having a fabulous end to their time at Chesterfield by spending time together with their friends on their end-of-term trips. Recently, they have been bowling and to a trampoline park, cementing friendships and creating wonderful memories.

  • Year 6 Debating Competition Winners!

    Our Year 6 Debating Team performed brilliantly at the Connect Trust Debate Competition hosted by Hazelbury School. The children used fantastic oracy skills to debate a range of topics on the theme of sustainability, and we are delighted to say that they won the competition, beating teams from six other schools. We are really proud of all of them - well done!

  • Chesterfield Music Festival

    To celebrate World Music Day, the whole school dressed in their summer and festival outfits and took part in our World Music Day celebration in the school playground. The children enjoyed singing together, took part in a music quiz and enjoyed learning some new dance moves! A huge thank you to Magda for organising such a special event!

    As part of their leaver's celebrations, our Year 6 children enjoyed a special trip to the West End to watch Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre in London's West End. This was a well-deserved treat after they worked so hard in their recent SATs tests.

    This week, our highly anticipated Intrasports event ignited a passion for physical activity and boosted the health and wellbeing across all year groups! Children embraced the opportunity to engage in a diverse carousel of sports, fostering both individual skill and team spirit. Divided into distinct colour-coded teams, pupils enthusiastically participated in a wide array of activities including the strategic aim of curling, the athletic launch of javelin, dynamic football skills drills, and many other exciting challenges. It was a wonderful display of teamwork, effort, and the joy of movement, all contributing to a healthy and active school community!
