Congratulations to our very own Laura Nwanya for completing the 2026 London Marathon to raise money for our school playground! An amazing achievement, well done Laura!
Our school library has had a makeover and we are really happy with the results! The children love visiting the library for their weekly class session. Our library is also open at break and lunch times when our fabulous librarians are on hand to recommend books, read to children and help grow that love of reading! From a magical doorway to an enchanted land, a cosy fireplace and owls to flying books and keys (and even a flying broomstick!), our new library is an inspiring place for children to read and learn.
Today we celebrated Earth Day and took part in a Switch Off. Lights, screens and electronic devices were all turned off during the morning and the children made an ‘Earth Day Pledge’ after using their oracy strategies to discuss environmental issues. In the afternoon, children made sustainable bunting to use at our Mini Marathon!
Today we welcomed Cristina and Ibrahim from MYME CAMHS to Chesterfield. They held a very informative coffee morning for parents where they shared what support is on offer in Enfield to children and families.
Year 4 children enjoyed their visit to the National Gallery This was a wonderful
opportunity for the children to see famous paintings in real life and explore one of the most important art museums in the world.
We all had lots of fun following the trail and solving the clues on our Easter Egg hunt! There were chocolate eggs for everyone to enjoy. Happy Easter!
Children and staff at Chesterfield had a lovely day celebrating Eid today! Eid Mubarak to all of our families who are celebrating.
Our Year 4 pupils did a fantastic job performing for their families, showing
how much they have learned on the ukulele this term. It was wonderful to see them play their chords and keep a steady rhythm together with such great focus and pride.
Our Year 2 children performed with confidence and enjoyment at both the Partnership Festival and our parent concert. They had perfected their performance skills, singing beautifully with actions - and even learnt a song in Welsh!
Children in Reception and Nursery enjoyed a visit from the London Fire Brigade today. The children were so excited to explore the fire engine and to hear about the firefighters’ incredible work. We are extremely grateful to the team from our local fire station who took time out of their very busy day to visit us!
