After School Enrichment Clubs

At Chesterfield Primary, we offer a diverse selection of after-school enrichment clubs for our pupils. These clubs provide opportunities for children to engage in a variety of activities beyond the regular curriculum, fostering their interests and developing new skills in a relaxed and supportive setting.

Our after-school enrichment program varies from term to term but typically includes clubs focused on areas such as:

  • Creative Arts: Activities like art and craft, drama, and music, allowing children to express their creativity and explore different artistic mediums.
  • Physical Activity: A range of sports and games to encourage physical fitness, teamwork, and the development of sporting skills.
  • Science and Technology: Clubs that promote enquiry, problem-solving, and hands-on activities.
  • Other Interests: Depending on the term and staff availability, we may also offer clubs related to languages, coding, chess, dance and more.

These clubs are run by school staff and sometimes external providers, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all participants. Information regarding the specific clubs offered each term, including schedules, age suitability, and sign-up procedures, will be shared with parents at the beginning of each term.

Our aim is to provide enriching experiences that complement the school day, allowing children to explore their interests, learn new things, and further develop their social skills outside the classroom.
